Well, aside from being in pain, life is going well. It's been a while since I posted: lots of homework. I had a small mishap at soccer the other night. I'm limping around after some sort of knee injury (Doc's are looking into it). But, on to happier notes:
The other day at work, someone asked me if I had trouble escaping from Whoville. I was like, "What?!" He said, "Well, after the grinch stole Christmas, all the joy left town . . . " Needless to say, I groaned, but it was rather creative and the first time I'd heard it. As I'm sure you all know I've been the butt of many puns surrounding my name. But, it's kind of nice to hear something new and different.
I also heard a funny joke in church last Sunday:
There was a man who was bitten by a dog and got rabies. His doctor told him he had only a day to live. Immediately the man pulled out a pen and paper and started furiously scribbling things down. Curious, the doctor asks, "Are you writing your will?" "Nope," he replies, "I'm making a list of the people I'm going to bite before I die." That's all I've got folks! Pray for quick recovery of my knee as I'm not sure I can last without any sort of physical activity for very long.

You think you have it bad? Joy Greshem's husband C.S. Lewis published a book, "Surprised by Joy".
Get better soon!

Oi, sucks about the knee... Twist, pop or stretch?
The Whoville joke definitely made me laugh. Heh.
May 12th, the Rockers are playing in Lethbridge. Aka, I will probably be down there with them, and my sling will be off, and I will need entertaining as I'll be benched (no sports for 6 months!!! :| ) so...
I am now working on a list of "Joy Jokes" that I think you haven't heard yet. I will let you know when they are completed...

o-jo,
no good about the knee. i hear that they hurt. hopefully if something is wrong - it is something similar to mine where you get good drugs and it's a short healing period. maybe nothing will be wrong...that would be better. but the drugs are good. ahem! anyways...
who's this jklm? playing for the rockers? yikes! i've played with many a rocker...however, i never wanted to be a rocker. if you see any of the girls (nikki, heather mac, summer, diana, etc...tell "that prop from lethbridge" says hi). and to answer your forming question - i'm not from lethbridge anymore. i played for the uni and the club for several years. now i play in red deer.
good job beating the irish last year. you did beat them right?
anyways, ojo - thanks for missing me. you make me feel good.
